The 2005-2006 school year has been fantastic for the Marblehead bridge builders. The high school students had an award-winning bridge at the Model Bridge Building Competition in February at Northeastern University. Middle school students were very successful in the On-Line Bridge Building Competition. Four students placed in the top 10 in the "under 13" category, with one MVMS team coming in first! These students were honored at the BSCES Awards dinner in Boston on June 1.
We also had engineering mentors work with the students and bring in sample model bridges. We thank Reed B. and Irene for sharing with us.
Plans are underway for next year. So start planning for the 2006-2007 school year! This is a forum for you to get information and give information. It is a place to share ideas. Let's make it another fun and successful year!

I love bridges. I love long and short ones. They are so much fun to use to get from one place to another.
